"LOOKIN' FOR 8"
50.5" x 50.5"
The line "Lookin' for Eight" borrowed from George Strait's hit song "Amarillo by Morning" refers to the eight-second period in which a cowboy's skill, determination, and courage are put to the test against the fiercest broncos or bulls that can be put under them. This eight second standard is not merely a goal within the sport; it is a requirement to qualify for a successful ride.

Life can seem like a rodeo, and "Lookin' for Eight" signifies the importance of holding on, despite the odds, and seeing a challenge through to its completion. While many may hope to simply "stay in the saddle," a rodeo cowboy aiming for the championship belt buckle must do more; he must "give it spurs," so to speak.

Few of us can relate to the rodeo cowboy's experience, but we all understand life's wild ups and downs. We must all get the most out of our experiences. Life’s worth lies in the effort and resilience we bring to our challenges. Don’t let life buck you off but confront it with courage and determination and make every second count. To quote the great Sly Stallone, “Life's not about how hard of a hit you can give...It's about how many you can take, and still keep moving forward.
That’s how winning is done!"
